Since 1992, McLeod Alliance’s services have been free and confidential.

At McLeod Alliance, our mission is to support and promote the elimination of relationship violence through education, empowerment, protection, and advocacy.

The mission of Common Cup Ministry is to gather and share spiritual and financial resources into one "Common Cup" so that we may minister to those in need. 

Member churches continue to use their Good Samaritan-type funds for aid to their congregational members'. Through a voucher system Common Cup funds are administered by volunteers, to help those who fall between the cracks of other assistance. Common Cup Ministry volunteers provide spiritual ministry as well as financial and emotional resources and support.

McLeod Emergency Food Shelf works to eliminate hunger and food-insecurity as well as improve the health and well-being of our community through equitable access to healthy and nutritious foods, community education and advocacy.

Our services support older adults to live healthier, more active and independent lives, and make eating fun and easy. We also serve individuals experiencing food insecurities or who need assistance with nutrition or nutrition requirements

Adaptive Recreation is a weekly activity program specially geared for mentally and/or physically challenged teens and adults.

 Adaptive Recreation is sponsored by the Hutchinson Parks, Recreation & Community Education Department

We prepare young people to be leaders and individuals of strong character by helping them discover and live by the principles of Scouting.

Early Intervention (EI) and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)  are Glencoe-Silver Lake Public Schools programs that provide screening and intervention services to families with children ages birth to kindergarten who are at risk of having a developmental delay or have been identified with a developmental delay or disability in the general areas of speech and language, large and fine motor skills, social and emotional behavior, cognitive and/or adaptive skills, or have vision or hearing losses.  These services are based on your child’s needs and are provided free to children who qualify.

Encouraging and supporting families to grow.

 ECFE is for all families with children age 0-5 years (kindergarten entry).  ECFE offers classes, special events, and other programs designed to give parents information, resources, and skills that support their children’s growth and development from birth to kindergarten and beyond. Parents and children attend programs together. ECFE is here to support new parents, veteran parents, and everyone in between! 

United Community Action Partnership is a joint effort to bring together area resources to effectively and efficiently address the growing needs of our local communities in southwest Minnesota.

United Community Action Partnership Inc., is a familiar face and trusted friend in southwest Minnesota but with a new name. The new name – United Community Action Partnership, Inc. – was adopted through the merging of two organizations (Heartland Community Action and Western Community Action) with a rich history of helping people, changing lives, and working to eliminate poverty in the lives of people in Cottonwood, Jackson, Kandiy

Eliminate the oppression that exists in the community by providing education, victim advocacy, parenting time services, systems intervention and agency collaboration.

 Those We Serve

Safe Avenues provides domestic and sexual violence victim advocacy to 7 primary counties in Southwestern Minnesota.  We provide emergency shelter for a larger 18 county area covering the lower Southwestern corner of Minnesota.  In addition, we provide safe parenting time services for families in need.

PACT for Families Collaborative (Putting All Communities Together) is a five county, multi-agency partnership which operates as a Children’s Mental Health Collaborative, and a Family Services Collaborative. Both Family Services and Children’s Mental Health Collaboratives were defined by legislation to design and implement an “integrated local service delivery system” as the Family Services Collaborative legislation called it, or an “integrated service system”, as the Children’s Mental Health Collaborative legislation stipulated.
PACT for Families is a unique organization developed by its partners to fill gaps in services and to reduce duplication. The purpose of the Collaborative is to demonstrate that a large, rural agricultural area undergoing rapid demographic and economic upheaval can accomplish wide spread systems change to improve the lives of families. The collaborative continues to evolve and respond to the changing needs of our rural community by creatively addressing gaps supporting sustainable solutions. Membership includes health care, social services, substance abuse treatment, mental health, child welfare, juvenile justice, education, and other child serving entities. PACT for Families and its partners are dedicated to changing systems to be more prevention focused, strength driven, and family friendly.

Meghan’s Place, founded in 2017, is a non-profit, private club serving young adults with disabilities in Hutchinson, Minnesota.

Our goal is to support and advocate for members as they grow into adulthood- empowering them to remain productive, active and integrated within the community.

Members of Meghan’s Place can participate in a wide variety of activities, socialize with friends, and receive advocacy services.

Meghan’s Place staff includes individuals who are highly trained and experienced, as well as caring volunteers.

In 4-H, all youth are welcome!

4-H is an out-of-school, hands-on learning program for youth in grades Kindergarten through one year past high school. Youth choose a project that’s interesting to them and explore it with peers and caring adults. 4-H clubs are groups of youth who want to learn together and meet in every part of Minnesota.
