    Give

There are many ways to give to the United Way of McLeod County!

    Payroll deduction.
If your company runs a United Way campaign, you have the opportunity to make a pledge through payroll deduction. Payroll deduction is an easy way to make a large impact, by spreading your gift throughout the year.

    Direct billing gift.
More of us than ever are working for small companies or for ourselves. If you would like to make an individual gift to your community through the United Way, you may contact us for more information.

    Online Giving.
An easy and secure way to give online. The gift must be at least $10.00 and contributed through a credit card. This is a convenient one time gift that will continue working to better our community year round. To contribute through our online giving page, just Click & Give.

    Leadership Giving.
It’s often said that the best way to lead is to lead by example. Leadership Giving allows you to blaze a path of philanthropy for others to follow, in your company and in your community. Pillars Club members receive special benefits in recognition of their generosity, including listings in various publications and invitations to special events. Your annual gift of $500 or more automatically enrolls you as a Pillars Club member.

    Planned giving.
Planned giving can help you meet your financial goals while supporting causes you care about. Would you like to make a contribution that maximizes your tax deduction and does the most good? When you give a gift of securities, you avoid capital gains taxes and brokerage fees. Plus, you can deduct the present value of the securities — not just what you paid. That means more help for people in need, and a bigger savings for you. For more information on planned giving, please contact us.

    In-kind donations.
Do you have a skill or talent you’d like to share? Don’t know where to begin looking for an agency that can use your gifts? Please contact us and we’ll help you put them to good use!
