Advancing the Common Good: LIVE UNITED

As communities change and our needs change, United Way is changing too. While raising money for local non-profit organizations is a large part of what we do, we are also about bringing the community together around the biggest issues facing us. Working together and focusing on the areas where we, as a community, can have the most impact in changing lives for the better.

Advancing the common good is the idea that we are all connected, interdependent. It’s the idea that we all win when a child succeeds in school or when a family in financially stable or when all people have access to good health care.

In the coming months you will begin to see and hear this message county wide. It takes everyone to advance the common good.
